I have been an Apple fan for a long time and I was really excited to make my first iPhone app. Now I'm developing for iOS for about 6 years now.
I also enyoy developing apps for Android. I especially like the latest Android versions Lollipop (5.x) and Marshmellow (6.x). And since the programming language Kotlin has reached version 1.0, developing for Android has become even more enjoyable.
Since the beginning of my career, I have been creating back-end applications. I still like the mix of developing front-end apps for mobile devices in Swift and Kotlin and back-end applications in Java.
Of course I'm no rocket scientist, but I really like to explore new technologies and because I am an autodidact, I usually catch on to new things very quickly.
I'm a software developer living in Leens, The Netherlands.
Currently I'm working as a software engineer at De Nederlandse Spoorwegen. Sometimes I do some freelance work with my own company MacMannes.
Previously I have worked at companies like 7scenes, MDC International and IDB Groep.
Developing apps is not just a job for me, it's a passion.
